Simpson 58 Manchurian in Faux Black Marble.  A beautiful brush that is as new.  It comes with the orginal box and the receipt from Mark at Simpson's.  It has never shed a single hair.  I am selling it because the Manchurian hair has a little more backbone than I find I prefer.  Not currently available from Simpsons.  Retailed for 210 pounds plus shipping.   Offered at $240 including shipping with tracking.  US buyers only please.

Hi all,

Trying to eliminate some items from my den to create new space and generate some Christmas shopping funds.  Prices shown are shipped CONUS.  Outside of that, shipping will be the difference between CONUS shipping and your location (ie. if you're in Canada and it were $15 for first class shipping, it would be $15 - $5 (estimated domesting first class price) = $10.  I've no idea of the original retail price for these, but I am listing them for about 40% less than I paid.  (Edit: the Rolls appears to have retailed for about $15 some time before 1958, but in 2017 dollars, that is...probably irrelevant.)

First is a Rolls Razor.  this set includes an extra lid and an extra blade.  Both appear to be in good condition for honing, and all the mechanicals work in razor and case.  These are a little heavier, so I am asking $22 for the set.  



Next up is a Perfection slant razor.  I am not familiar with the brand, so no idea of its pedigree.  But the razor seems to be in reasonably good shape with the case, and is a gentle and comfortable shaver.  $20 shipped.

First up is a Rotbart with a case.  The razor is certainly a user grade, but fully functional and proficient shaver.  The case is pretty beat up.  $15 shipped.  






Next up is a 1948-50 gold Gillette Aristocrat, without case.  There is a bit of the normal plating wear on the solid bars, but otherwise the the plating is still in good shape.  $35 shipped.

First up is a Kirby Beard razor.  This is one historic razor that I feel certainly lives up to the hype, and shaves superbly. 



This was replated professionally, and I am just trying to get out of it what I have in it.  $255 shipped.  















Next is a 1946-47 gold Gillette Milord.  I think the 46-47 era were the best of the TTO Gillettes.  $25 shipped.

I was hoping some of you fellows might have some suggestions on where to get a DE razor stand that is made in the U.S. or Europe that costs, say, under $30?  This stand would be for a wooden handle double edge razor from Creations by Will (great razors, by the way =)  ), so the handle is thicker than typical metal handle razors would be.  So a design that lets the razor handle hang down freely with no tubes or rings to sit in or fit through would probably be required. I have seen several such razor stands, but they all seem to be at least $50-$60+ and I'm not looking for anything that high-end at this time.  But I want it made in the U.S. or Europe and am willing to pay for that.  Something that won't rust, such as brass, stainless steel, or wood is fine, and even a heavily chrome plated steel would probably be ok.  Thanks very much for any recommendations, links, etc. on where to look. =)

Well, age is starting to catch up and I was told I have the beginning stages of Parkinson's.  Due to non-steady hands my wet shaving days are over.  To start with, I am listing two razors and some brushes.  When I can sort through everything, the soaps and blades will be listed later.  So here we go.

I’m pretty sure this is a Flairtip Gillette from Razor Emporium re-vamp services. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m selling this razor as I prefer a heavier razors and a longer handle. I only used it twice.

When I ordered my REX Ambassador I requested and paid to have a rhodium finish. For whatever reason, the rhodium finish was not sticking. Matt said the high quality of the 316L steel was too high grade for it to stick. So instead of being refunded, I requested a vintage Gillette.

Retails for $99. I’m selling for $75 and I’ll cover the shipping. I’m selling the razor to but the funds towards the L2 base plate Sabre.

Up for consideration today is a Simpson Chubby 2 in Best with ivory handle.  I purchased this from another TSN member in May (http://shavenook.com/showthread.php?tid=48658) for $110.  This is a delightful brush, in excellent condition, no shedding at all.  I've used it perhaps a dozen times since purchasing.  Selling as I've had other gear opportunities come up that I am raising funds for.  I will include in the sale a travel tube to protect it during shipping and for use in a dopp kit.

Hello folks-

First, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!

I have been part of a very fun and interesting soap "try out" offered by one of our fellow members and his daughter as part of her 8th science experiment. I have finished my time with the samples provided and since there is SO much soap left, I wanted to offer the opportunity to another member here.
