I had Brad Sears make a Polo style handle at 65mm height which I then sent to Mark at Vulfix to install a CH3 Manchurian knot (same loft as their standard offering). I asked for the handle to be also engraved and a sticker added.

No issues with the knot, I am selling because I want to order a custom straight razor.

Price = $380 shipped in US.

Just finished restoring this Flora. Restore was very light. A bit of tarnish to the blade, and the only active rust was around the pivot area. Someone had tried to scratch something into one side of the scales; someone's name, maybe, but not legible, just ugly. I sanded them down as far as I dared and got rid of all but a slight few marks. Hard to see unless you look closely. Buffed them out and repinned.
Razor was honed on a synthetic progression to 8k, then I moved to an Escher, and finally finished on an Arkansas Black.

I have two badger hair brushes.  When I get to the end of the week, I clean them.  Usually, if I had just being using one, I only clean that one.  

I shampoo, condition, blow-dry, and, comb them.  Today, I added the step of using hand/face soap, in between the shampoo, and, conditioner.  I noticed quite a bit of shedding after I was finished combing it.  I think this may be related to the use of the soap.

Does anyone else comb their brushes?  And, if so, is shedding a problem, typically?

Thought I'd post a restore already in progress. It's a Simmons Hardware "Hornet".

I have already finished the blade. It was lightly tarnished, with some rust in the pivot area. Love the ones that don't need a ton of work. So does my arthritis/carpel tunnel.
Scales are going to be Koa. I think they will have a bit of flame once CA finish goes on. That will take several days to complete, so I will post progress when I can. I believe I have a bit of bone for the wedge, if the piece is big enough.

Shampoo bars are fairly easy to come by (MW, Mike's, etc), but conditioner bars are a bit tougher to source. I had been using through the fire fine craft (both shampoo & conditioner bars are great), but the site has been under maintenance for a while now and I haven't recieved a response to my email query.

Does anyone have an alternative recommendation?
