I've shaved most of my life with a Gillette Sensor/Sensor Excel. Had a Norelco for a minute, but it just didn't...feel...natural. Tried the Fusions, etc, but they didn't feel right either. I struggle with dry, sensitive skin and really have been exploring options to minimize the bumps and other blemishes that apparently have been a result of canned foams/gels and lack of a brush in my life.
My cousin owns a barber shop and ever since getting a nice straight blade shave'n'cut, I've been intrigued by the whole wet shaving scene.
Been lurking for a few days and decided to join. My car modding addiction is on the shelf til my kids get a little older, so this will have to do. I recently pulled the trigger on a 1969 Gillette Travel Tech razor in mint condition. Looking at brushes and soaps now that I can practice with until it gets here.
I don't excite easily, but I'm a little excited to say the least.
