Tried the Citrus Musk for the first time yesterday after my shave. It stung quite a bit, but I did shave with a new razor I'd never used before, so that could have something to do with it. It smelled wonderful, imho. Very citrus- light, crisp, refreshing. It is a fairly powerful scent when first applied, but it calmed down very quickly. Throughout the day it left a pleasant, faint trace of itself, which was nice. I am a big fan of the Pinaud Lime Sec a/s and when I initially opened and smelled the Citrus Musk it reminded me instantly of the Lime Sec (which I guess shouldn't be surprising). So before I splashed the citrus musk on, I did a side-by-side sniffing. They smell VERY similar, to my nose. Almost identical. I made my wife do a side-by-side sniffing, too, and she also thought they were almost identical smelling. So, in my opinion, although they are both great scents, you do not need to own both.
Has anyone else tried both? Have you done a comparison? What are your thoughts? I'm curious to see if others agree with me, or if my nose just doesn't work so well.
