Simpson Labelling Anomaly

I have posted the pics elsewhere on the Nook, BUT, check this out: it's a Chubby #1 Butterscotch, unsure of the date (50s??) a two-band...but look at the label :)

Is this a rare thing, or have others seen this oddity before? Clue: look again at the spelling :)
