Hello from St. Paul, Minnesota

Good morning!

I am back in town for 2 more hours and now have access to my own computer again so I will introduce myself.
Geezer has been saying that this is a very good group of wet shavers and that I should join. So....I finally did!

My wet shaving background is that I have been using a straight razor for about 9 years now. I have not used any other type of razor since I started with straights. I started at the age of 55
and became a bit OCD on the subject. Now I have accumulated over 800 str8's and many, many hones of all types. There are also many DE & SE razors in my collection. Geezer is helping me clean up those and explaining the mechanisms & how to use them ( such as the Autostrop).
Both Geezer and I help out the new guys in our area with 1 on 1 sessions at our home plus have put together several shaving get-together's in Minnesota & Wisconsin. It is really interesting to meet so many different people.

I hope to learn from all of you and maybe I can help a few new guys from time to time.
