Review Yates 921-EH Ti

I've recently acquired the Yates 921-EH Ti full razor with a 3.25 inch handle. The razor is light since it is titanium but feels great and well balanced to hold and shave with.

I usually prefer weighty razors since they are usually more smooth for me. But this one seems to be weighty enough to not tug like I've had with the Henson AL and Ti.

The handle is the perfect size for me. I thought it would be too thin, but it is actually good and I have relatively normal size hands.

The shaves have been perfect so far. The EH plate is very efficient that leads to an easy BBS. But the razor is also very forgiving. No nicks or irritation. It's so impressive how close of a shave I can get without feeling like I'm going to cause trauma to my skin.

I've used it on my face and dome shaves and it performs great for both. Always BBS, and very easy/comfortable on my skin.

This configuration (As Machined, but i polished it) was around $230 mark, which is very reasonable for Ti. The quality is great, and the shaves are great. The only thing one could give a negative point on is the handle isn't really pretty. But that is also subjective and doesn't affect the shave.

Do I recommend this razor? Yes!

For the price on titanium razors, this is probably the best value. 5/5

Shaving characteristic being highly efficient, smooth, and safe. 5/5

Aesthetics being not as nice as other high end razors but still not bad to look at or hold. It is very nice when polished, and polished really well. 4/5Image may be NSFW.
