My first Shavemac and it is a custom beauty!

Hello Gents,

Soooo SBAD continues to be quite prevalent in my system and quite frankly I'm not sure I'll ever be cured. Therefore in the "state" that I'm in I decided to give Shavemac a try as I've always read so many positive things about Bernd and his brand. This would be my very first Shavemac (all other brushes in my den are Simpson and a couple of Rooneys) so I figured I'd order a customized version.

I chose the 167 handle ivory with a faux wood bottom band (inspired by their Colonia brush) with D01-3Band hair, 25mm knot and 48mm loft. As I'm an avid cigar smoker and have been in the business for close to 20years, I decided to incorporate my initials with my favorite cigar size hence the name of my brush...GLM ROBUSTO 25X48.

All I can say is that I have been very pleased by the exceptional craftsmanship and quality of this brush. Bernd is truly an artisan and a pleasure to business with.
I really enjoy the feel of the D01-3 Band as it is scrubby but with soft tips at the same time.

Obviously with the mass of hair that I requested and the short loft, it is a face lathering, soap and cream killing monster! I have used it for 5 days straight since it's arrival and is breaking in nicely. I'm sure that with another 10-15 uses it will reach it's fullest potential.

I look forward to working with Bernd again and already have another beauty on the drawing board. SBAD is seemingly incurable but boy is it fun!
