Wannabe daydream believer in the necessity of pre post shave treatment... I use Proraso post shave white/sensitive: bargain price, effective and long lasting (at a guess 3-4 months). I couldn't find a comparable/better product at less than 3-5x the price (do please post if you can recommend one).
...And then this week (having read a 'heads-up' either on this board or another) found myself aimlessly shelf-surfing along the aisles of my local Stamford Waitrose and I discover my very own little nugget of gold! Nivea sensitive post shave balm - "all Nivea products half price" read the shelf edge label: £2.50 per 100ml bottle sensitive and regular.
As inconspicuously as possible (lest my wide eyed excitement, involuntary pheromone secretions or sudden movement alert other imagined pre/post shave bargain buzzards...), I rush to reach up in one smooth continuous movement, furtively glancing over each shoulder to check for the inevitable down your neck deep breathers - good all clear; empty the shelf of six or seven boxed bottles into my hand basket and make my way to the check-out counter. I'm not an individual who wears an easy smile, but nonetheless, my heart sang.
