I started DE shaving this week. I'm an educator, so I was going to wait until I got out of school for the summer, but I couldn't wait any longer. I refuse to buy more cartridges. So, in stead I got an EJ89L, a Semogue 1250 and some D.R. Harris Arlington soap. Three shaves in, and I love it! Each day, I look forward to starting anew. I work to improve my technique, and make a better lather. I relish the feel of my brush against my whiskers.
The point of this thread is to say thank you to all of the kind folks here for sharing your knowledge. While my shaves are far from perfect, they are far better than they would've been without your insightful posts. I have found most of my answers through searching this forum. I know that I can ask any question, perhaps one that has been asked many times before, and find kindness and thoughtfulness.
