Prairie Creations Just Added RTS pucks & Pre-Shave Soap

While I am filling orders and working with my tallow & lanolin made with Aloe Vera Juice (as the only liquid used) I also make up some pucks in various other scents to have listed as RTS (ready to ship) items that are in stock and ready to be mailed. Some scents are part of my regular inventory but other scents are scents that I have purchased and I have to use. I like buying other scents to offer a greater variation of the regular scents to offer with ready made items or upon request.

I like to offer choices as I know that for every scent there will be someone who just loves it and other that will hate it with as much passion. Scent is a very personal thing and can be changed to just about anything available.

The following pucks are all my large "3" in diameter when made, subject to a little shrinkage in diameter after the liquid evaporates out. When they are freshly made they are a little softer but after that excess liquid evaporates out they become hockey puck hard for those that really like their hard soaps!

Black Magic ~
Fresh blend of Fir Tree, Spices, and smooth Vanilla notes.



Clubman ~
Reminiscent of the old time barbershop because it was a common product used by barbers. This is bursting with top notes of orange, bergamot and mouth-watering lemon with green nuances throughout. The floral heart of jasmine, orange flower and geranium dance with lavender and is completed with a warm musk background.



Cucumber Wasabi Cilantro ~
Refreshing spa-like fragrance with top notes of aldehydic fruit notes of grapefruit and lime, with middle notes of fresh cucumber, guava, and passionfruit, and base notes of wasabi, cilantro, and fern.



Gentlemans Pipe ~
This is the cozy scent with notes of cherry wood, raspberry, vanilla and tobacco.


Green Apple ~
The scent of a tart green apple.



Huckleberry Harvest ~
This scent is reminiscent of blueberry with raspberry, grape, strawberry and peach top notes with a sweet background.



Indonesian Teak ~
A supple wood, mild in fragrance, similar to sandalwood -- excellent as a blender to deepen fragrances with a creamy wood finish.



Paradise Reef ~
Let's get away and go deep-sea diving at Paradise Reef. A popular vacation get away place. This fragrance oil is a sparkling fragrance with salt water and fresh air notes. Paradise Reef begins with notes of nectarine, bird of paradise, and water lily, followed by middle notes of passion flower, orchid, and hyacinth. A well-rounded fragrance empowered by fresh air and salt water notes.



Pomegranate ~
This has the wonderful aroma of freshly sliced pomegranate.


Once they are sold I mark them as sold and move them to my sold section for the RTS items that I have sold. Just in case someone wants to leave a review or to let other customers know what has already been sold.

At the end of the day it's been very productive. I have three packages that are ready to be mailed out tomorrow morning and two more to complete tomorrow and all orders will be caught up with for the time being.

I've also added back in my pre-shave soap. Mine is unique in it's formulation and ingredients. It's not made with a glycerin melt and pour base, but is cold process soap. Ingredients given in alphabetical order, however they are in the correct order on the label.
Liquids Used : Goats Milk and Fresh Carrot Juice
Oils Used : Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Palm Oil, Unrefined Shea Butter
Other Ingredients Used : Gerber Carrots, Honey, Raw Silk Fibers, Sodium Lactate, Talc

I made a single small batch up and I filled six individual cavities of my smaller round mold (shown in the photo below), plus a single mold of a rectangular shaped soap that is the same shape as a bath soap bar. Then I still had more batter left so I reached for the nearest mold which was a Halloween silicone mold and so the last one is in the shape of a pumpkin just for fun. They are priced based on the weight of the soap given the total cost of the batch to make.

It's color is unique and is natural from the carrot juice, carrot puree and honey.
