I have a VL 13061 brush which has a great handle but I find the horse hair far too scritchy for my face. I finally got shaving with a tech down pat, but one use with the 13061 makes my face fell like it had a run in with a fire breather.
I used my google-fu and found some threads of people who have re-knotted the same handle but I want a soft and luxurious silvertip knot. My understanding is that my handle has a knot bore of 23mm and a depth of 19mm.
What knot (silvertip) size/loft should I buy to make the reknotting as easy as possible? I'd like to avoid drilling the handle if possible as I have no tools and am the very definition of butterfingers.
