Labels for Ziploc Tubs

Work has been slow, since the insane holiday rush has passed, so I've been occupying myself with some stupid little things lately (also, I'm finding some time to browse around here, and annoy you all with my antics, which I hadn't done in ages). Take, for instance, today's project:



For most of them, I downloaded photos of the product, cut what content I wanted (text, logos, etc.), converted to black and white, adjusted the levels (making the light greys a bit darker), and then fit the images into 3x3 inch frames on an InDesign document. Some of them look a bit rough, but hey, I'm no wizard.

I know I'll end up trimming some content off, and will have to adjust my template somewhat, but I don't have a lid on hand, and kind of guessed at the dimensions. Once I get home and get some measurements, I'll make ellipse frames in the squares to match the diameter of the tops of the lids, where I'll be cutting.

Way too much work for something so simple? Maybe, but at least it kept me from falling asleep at my desk.

On a side note, I'd someday like to migrate to using these instead. They are cheap, and look a lot nicer I think.
