Over and over, I have been troubled by my lack of satisfaction with boar brushes. The SOC was too large and felt like I was being consumed and out of control when face lathering. The 2030B was too floppy and couldn't hold a solid lather to my liking. I then got the IB LE when they were first on sale, used it a few times, and was unimpressed, it seemed like it would end up the same as the others. But I didn't want to sell it, cause I got my father one as well and it provided a meaningful connection with him back home. Well, I started using it again, and BAM! AMAZING! Dare I say, PERFECT!
Yes brothers and sisters, I have seen the light of a broken in boar. I do think the knot size has something to do with it, too. Basing my thoughts on knot size, I got the 1800 as well, and almost immediately it is performing like a dream!
Just thought I would share the good news. It's going to be tough to keep the BoarBAD at bay!
