Haven't posted in a good while, and I'm bored at work, so here's my latest haul of razors! My mom found them at an antique store and talked the guy down to $5 a piece for the lot, and he threw in a couple boxes of old blades as well. Photo isn't the greatest quality (taken on iPhone, lousy lighting in bathroom), but here they are before a nice long bath.

From left to right, I have (and please, correct me if I'm wrong):
After disposing of the used blades and giving each one a thorough rinse in warm water, I started toying with them to find that, for the most part, they were in perfect working order. The grey plastic part of the Krona handle, when the silo doors are open, spins freely, but it sits securely when closed, so I'm not terribly concerned. Other than that, no issues at this point. The TTO mechanisms all worked smoothly, the adjustment mechanism on the Super Adjustable worked fine. Awesome. I let them soak in dish soap and warm water for a bit and began to scrub them with a soft jewelry brush.
This is where some issues began. First, as soon as the brush touched the bottom of the Krona, the black eagle logo flaked away like it was nothing (and after so many years, it may have been). That kind of sucked, but it doesn't affect the function of the razor, so onward I went. Except for some heavily worn spots on the caps of some, and some remaining crud baked into the knurling of the Super-Speed, they actually came out looking pretty nice. In fact, the Super Adjustable looked just good enough to use...

Well, then I started on the Tech, and I found that the threading in the handle of the Tech was composed almost entirely of crud... which promptly began to come apart and fall out of the handle, leaving me with a stripped handle that no longer holds the head. At all.
That leads to my question: is there any place to get a hold of a cheap replacement handle for this guy? I'm not into the more popular handles that I see everywhere, those being huge, heavy, knurled solid stainless (and usually relatively expensive). My best guess is that I should make a post here and look for one on the B/S/T, but if there are any other suggestions, I welcome them. I'm not looking for an exact replica of this handle (although it is nice looking, beneath the crud). I would prefer it match the gold tone of the head, but again, that isn't a requirement. I've looked a some of the popular manufacturer's, and I browsed through threads where folks have asked similar questions, so this is kind of a shot in the dark, I realize.
