Christmas Dinner and a surprise gift

We had crown pork roast for Christmas dinner. It looks very elegant, tastes great and is simple to cook.


I served it with mimosas. This was because I forgot to put the mimosas out for brunch. But the mimosa and pork are a surprisingly good pairing.


My best Christmas gift, probably ever, was given to me by my wife.
She was able to get her hands on a 40 year old port. It came in a cool wooden case. I love port. Especially aged port.


My wife also got me the 20 year old as she was not sure the 40 year old deal would work out. Gotta love her!
