Junt 80 in Red

I just wrapped up this piece tonight at 11:00. Seems appropriate that it's a red razor on Christmas Eve.
The blade came in without scales and was in need of some attention.
I removed the rust along with the chip on the edge. Then I polished the blade and redid the bluing on the shaft.
I made the acrylic to the clients wishes and then made the scales. I also made the acrylic for the wedge as well. I think the nearly black wedge balances the look with the near black on the shaft of the razor.
Brass pins and washers finished it off.
Now wait up for Santa and try this out on him!

PS. Just ignore the piece of lint that might look like a scratch in the 6th photo.
