News reports are revealing that Target was hacked from November 27 to December 15, and about 40 millions credit cards have been compromised. Experts say that generally only about 5% of cards in such an incident will be used, which is still 2 million cards. If you used a debit or credit card at Target during that period, they are recommending that you cancel your card and have your bank issue a new one. Otherwise the thieves could get all your personal information, including your PIN, and could access all of your bank accounts from an ATM.
