I checked my debit card balance online just before finally dropping the hammer on buying a new Progress razor, and lo and behold, no money in my account. Someone had gotten hold of my dc number (somehow, and I'm usually very careful about keeping it from prying eyes when I'm out in public, but online, well . . .) and bought him- or herself a pair of very expensive Ray-Ban sunglasses. Wiped out my account in doing so. I hope they enjoy their treat's-on-me, and Merry Christmas to them.
So I'm currently in the process of fixing this, but it will be a few days before my bank's claims department will (hopefully) reimburse me. Wouldn't you know? All this time hemming and hawing and when I finally get ready to get back into DE shaving, I can't. So now I'm worried about purchasing ANYTHING online ever again, including paying bills. I guess it could have been worse, just before rent was due, etc.
Everyone be careful out there and have a problem-free holiday season for yourselves.
