Hello from Missiissiissisissisisiiissisippi

Been lurking on this and a few other razor forums for awhile, and figured I should finally register.

I'm a pastor in New Albany, Mississippi, who has a part time sharpening business, and enjoys playing/writing music (hence the handle).

I'm shaving with a vintage Hall & Lyon "Griffon" Special #05, which I just thinned, reprofiled, and rehoned last night. Using Mama Bear "Ye Olde Barbershoppe" shaving soap and The Art of Shaving Sandalwood Shaving Cream.

I started using a straight razor because I like old timey stuff and sharpening things, and straight razors present a special sort of challenge for the sharpener. My wife really enjoys the close shave : )
