After 12 shaves using a single Feather Pro Guard, I think I am beginning to understand why this razor gets the praise it does.![Cool]( "Cool")
I previously owned one months ago but for a very short time. Used it for 4 shaves and sold it off as I didn't like the handle - felt too uncomfortable. Realizing I didn't give it a fair chance, wanted to try again and was lucky to pick up the one Toby had on BST recently.
The razor has that distinctive look and feel and you know you are holding a very special equipment in your hand. It came with the Feather Pro blades but I used a Feather Pro Guard blade, I had from before. During the first few shaves, I had the same issue regarding the handle. It felt uncomfortable, especially when shaving across on the opposite cheek. I figured holding the razor with all my fingers as opposed to clutching it in my palm worked better.![Lightbulb]( "Lightbulb")
Now after 12 shaves, the grip does not seem to be an issue any more and the shaves are so comfortable, close and quick. Something about these thick blades that gives more confidence of a nick free shave. So lesson for me is to give the Cobra a handful of shaves before deciding if it is not for you. So far I am enjoying it. It will be visiting a friend soon and I am quite certain he is going to love it.![Tongue]( "Tongue")
