Thuya wood shaving bowl - very Plisson-like

Outside of being a shave enthusiast, I'm also a 'wood-freak.' My wood involvement goes way beyond a mere casual interest. I was fortunate enough to pick up a Plisson Thuya wood razor a while back on one of the bst forums. It is a real beauty and it was my first introduction and exposure to Thuya, which is a very interesting 'root' wood from Morocco. It's particularly interesting because most of it is heavily burled.

Anyway, while cruising the bay, I ran across this, which I think is an exceptional Jorris-like rendition of their bowl. This one is filled with a MDC ice-cream scoop. Pretty novel, if you ask me. I'll check back in after I receive it and report back.
