It was a difficult time for me since I was several thousand kilometres away from home at the time... away trying to do my little part in order to bring peace to South Sudan - and then un-peace strikes at home![Sad]( "Sad")
Certain things - like police-military cooperation, and a system for the police to require military assistance - has come into place since then, and I'm happy to say I'm doing my tiny bit for that to work as smoothly as possible. I do want to share two things I wrote about it while I was away from home though: one on the day of the cowardly attacks, one with two days perspective.
