My first experience with Ikon

So I'll get straight to the point and say that I've avoided Ikon for a long time.

What made me stay away for so long had nothing to do with his product, but rather that I wasn't exactly a fan of Greg's ethics. His posts on Twitter and Facebook calling out his competitors products left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not saying that what he said was wrong per se, but I just felt like it was a little off.

So I've been looking to pick up another Bulldog handle. Seeing Greg's new Shavecraft Bulldog handle pop up the other day finally made me pull the trigger.

I ordered the handle on Thursday night, and by Saturday morning it was waiting in my mailbox. All the way from NY to SC in a day was pretty darned impressive.

The handle arrived and as I anticipated, it looks fantastic. It has great weight to it, the knurling is wonderful and deep, and the polish in between is flawless.

It fits my variety of heads very well and is a welcome addition to my den.

Greg makes what looks like a very attractive product, and if I can get my hands on an Ikon OC, I plan on getting one at some point.
