After Shave Balm

Aftershave balm is for the guy who needs a little moisturizing after his shave. Each ingredient was chosen for a very specific reason to help moisturize and hydrate while soothing your skin after shaving. 



Unlike most other balms you can buy made with water as the first and main ingredient with glycerin following close behind. Krissy does not use either in hers. Instead she uses aloe vera juice to benefit your skin in a way that plain water can’t. She also adds a small amount of goat’s milk to further benefit your skin. But the amount used is within limits so that the paraben-free preservative (liquid Germall plus) can handle it and the product won’t go bad because of the added milk. 



Krissy’s aftershave balm focuses on three wonderful oils to benefit your skin. The total percent of oils used is kept low because it’s a facial product and they will absorb quickly into your skin and won’t leave your skin feeling greasy, but enough to benefit your skin. 



She also adds other luxury ingredients to bring it up a notch into a product you will enjoy using day after day. 



Oils Used : Avocado Oil, Jojoba, Meadowfoam Seed Oil


Liquids Used : Aloe Vera Juice, Goats Milk


Other Ingredients Used : Allantoin, BTMS, Dimethicone, Emulsifying Wax, Isopropyl Myristate, Liquid Germall Plus, Panthenol B5, Sodium Lactate, Tocopherols (vit E), Wheat Protein


Fragrance : Optional



Pre-Shave Oil

This is her pre-shave oil that she formulated. She chose very specific oils for this to maximize the effectiveness. This was sent out to a number of testers and she got really good feedback from them. Several were gentleman who use pre-shave oil daily with their shave. 



The purpose of a pre-shave oil is to prepare the skin for the razor and soften the hairs of the beard before applying the shaving lather. Unlike many other pre-shave oils that just contain straight oils which can feel greasy this one doesn't feel greasy and does rinse off your skin easily because of it's formulation.

Oils Used : Avocado Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Jojoba, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Tocopherols


Other Ingredients Used : Isopropyl Myristate



Both of these fine products in their unscented formula have become a staple in my shaving routine along with my Krampert's Bay Rum. If you like balms and pre-shave oils, I highly recommend these two products.
