Gentlemen:
I always travel with a straight razor and a backup razor. In the past the double edge was my backup. These days, however, the Feather Artist Club SS with Pro Guard blades seems ideal. I am traveling by car this weekend and the photos show my setup in part.
The straight razor in the photos is the 5/8 NOS Bohlerstahl from Hamlin & Co. The backup razor is the Feather Artist Club SS, and the brush a 22 mm silvertip by Thater with a Simpson travel brush tube. The cream, not shown, is Institute Karite. Of course, the wet pack contains other suitable accoutrements for travel.
What razor and back up, if any, do you take on your trips, gentlemen?
