I recently acquired a metal Plisson Size 12 brush in EW.
I had wanted this brush since the first time I saw a member's pic of it in the SOTD threads.
I used it a few times and put it aside as a thing of beauty to be admired and used occasionally.
Yesterday I took it from the shelf in readiness for my next shave.
Something sharp bit in to my finger.
I observed a sliver of the plating had come away and embedded itself in my finger.
I noticed the fault was not isolated to one area.
The entire brush is cracking and flaking in various locations.
The brush has not be exposed to heat or anything corrosive.
I'd estimate it's seen far less than a dozen shaves.
Needless to say I'm quite disappointed...
